I purchased the E-Classic 2400 to replace my other wood boiler that was 8 years old. I am amazed at how much less wood consumption there was. My job involves snow removal and I would have to fire up before I left sometimes at 1:00 or 2:00 am that would last only 13 to 15 hours. The E-Classic firebox is about half the size of my old boiler. Now I fire up the night before a snowstorm and I don't have to worry about having to refill untill the next evening. I usually fill the firebox full and do not have to refill for 42 hours. Because there are a lot less ash I do not have to clean out as often and surprisingly the ashes are not very hot. I am very happy with my E-Classic 2400 Central Boiler.
